                      Retooling Detroit is a non-profit, volunteer-based public service organization dedicated to breaking Detroit’s intergenerational cycle

of poverty and illiteracy through a community-wide effort that is holistic and multi-pronged.

Prong one: Bridging the Literacy Divide when it first emerges — when an infusion of support can yield the greatest results.

Prong two: Enhancing whole-child education through a range of enrichment workshops to stoke a child’s natural curiosity and intelligence.

Prong three: Inspiring confidence and a love of learning—to enable the child to reach their true potential.
